For the second consecutive year, we have been named Best Luxury Helicopter Service in Italy at the Luxury Lifestyle Awards, an international awards programme recognising companies and services that stand out in the luxury sector.
Following our success in 2025, this latest recognition further confirms the path Hoverfly has taken in the world of private aviation and premium helicopter services.
A Service Built Around the Passenger
Our philosophy is simple: every journey has to be tailored to the passenger’s needs. Every service is planned around the client’s schedule, requirements, and itinerary. An organisation-wide approach brings together commercial, operational, and technical teams, as well as pilots, ensuring that every aspect of the service is considered and addressed.
“Receiving this recognition for the second consecutive year is a source of great pride for me and an incentive to continue investing in our people, our fleet, and our technical capabilities. The quality of our service is the result of the daily work of our pilots, technicians, engineers, and operational staff and, above all, of the attention we dedicate to every client,” says Dr. Saturnino De Cecco, founder of Hoverfly.

An Increasingly Strategic Presence Across Italy
Founded in 2009, Hoverfly is based in Pescara, with its operational headquarters in Bellizzi, close to Salerno Costa d’Amalfi Airport. The company’s presence in Campania has been further strengthened by the opening of a new hangar in Casoria, adjacent to Naples International Airport.
These strategic locations enable us to further develop our operational, technical, and maintenance activities while remaining in close proximity to two airports currently undergoing significant growth. Completing Hoverfly’s Italian network is its Milan-Bresso base, which serves as a key reference point for operations in Northern Italy.
From the Airport to the Final Destination by Helicopter
Hoverfly’s strategic presence near major airports allows the company to offer a fast and convenient service. Capri, the Amalfi Coast, Rome, Lake Como, Portofino, and the French Riviera are just some of the destinations that can be reached.
Alongside its helicopter services, and thanks to its activities as a helicopter operator and its network of selected private jet operators, Hoverfly has also expanded into the private jet charter brokerage sector in recent years. Based on passengers’ needs and requests, we can propose and organise a combination of private jet and helicopter services to reach the final destination.
The result is a smoother travel experience, with a single point of contact for the entire itinerary. This removes complexity from travel management and creates a truly personalised solution tailored to each passenger.
Hoverfly Joins the World Luxury Chamber of Commerce
Hoverfly’s international growth has also been strengthened by joining the World Luxury Chamber of Commerce (WLCC), a community that brings together entrepreneurs, brands, and professionals operating in the international luxury sector.
Joining the network represents a new opportunity for our company to develop relationships and collaborations with businesses and organisations operating across the hospitality, tourism, and high-end services sectors.
A Fleet in Constant Evolution
The expansion of Hoverfly’s fleet is progressing alongside the growth and consolidation of its activities. The Group’s operations extend beyond passenger transport, also encompassing aircraft maintenance and training through its own flight school. Pilots, technicians, engineers, operational staff, and the commercial team work together to oversee every service, from the initial planning stages through to customer support.
Among the most recent investments in 2026 is a new Airbus H130 T2, which will join our fleet in December.

Safety, Training and Prevention
2026 also marked the conclusion of the investigations into the accident involving an AW109SP in Noceto, in the province of Parma, in February 2025.
The criminal proceedings were closed, and on 20 August 2026, the Italian National Flight Safety Agency (ANSV) published the final report of its investigation, with no safety recommendations issued. The conclusion of the investigations represents a further opportunity for our company to reflect on the importance of safety and prevention, values that are applied every day through crew training, technical preparation, and operational risk management.

Receiving the Luxury Lifestyle Award for the second consecutive year represents an important recognition for us and is part of a broader growth journey that, in recent years, has seen our company consolidate its presence across Italy while strengthening its international profile.
From our roots in Abruzzo to an increasingly structured operational presence, and from fleet expansion to the development of our services, Hoverfly continues to invest in the quality of its activities and in its ability to provide customers with an increasingly comprehensive and personalised experience.
